    Mary Alice,

My wife and I are both visiting Mt Pleasant from Massachusetts until tomorrow night. We are unable to make your book launch tonight, which we just learned about 10 minutes ago. My mother is 96 and legally blind, but she listens to all your books over and over again through the Perkins Library for the blind. When I told her we would be visiting Isle of Palms this week, she asked me to try and find out where you live, and to bring back a souvenir of anything related to you. I know it is a lot to ask, but is there any way for us to get your autograph so we could give it to her? We are staying at the Hampton Inn in Mt Pleasant (corner of Isle of Palms Connector and 17N),room 340, and my cell # is 413-896-9726. It would mean a lot to my mother who is housebound and spends every day listening to the audio books from you and other authors. Thank you very much. Dave Bourcier

      Dear Dave,
I’m traveling for book tour right now. But I’d love to send your dear mother a couple of bookmarks. Would she like that? If so, just contact my assistant to send her the mailing address. [email protected]

And be sure to eat at my favorite restaurant on IOP… Long Island Cafe. So good!
